How did a girl who barely made it through tenth grade math come to operate a utility submetering company? With a passion for puzzles and logic, and an intuitive fluency with spreadsheets and databases, Diane (pronounced Dee-On) found her calling when she was contracted by an electrical engineer to analyze years of electrical usage for a major Los Angeles hospital. She started DDM Metering Systems in 1996 with a handful of Class A office properties in Los Angeles and now works with commercial and residential properties nationwide.
An Honors graduate of Bryn Mawr College, Diane was previously Director of Communications for Willkie Farr & Gallagher, an international law firm headquarted in New York City, and later a public relations consultant for Debevoise & Plimpton.
What our clients say about the DDM system
“Probably one of the most
cost-effective, simple energy
reducing tools one could have
at their disposal.”
